Yoga exercisesYoga is defined as a healing system of theory and practice that combines breathing exercises with physical postures and meditation.

It has its roots in Hinduism but in the West is normally used for physical exercise and relaxation therapy to help prevent and manage stress.

Yoga may be beneficial in helping to release stress in the body that may be the cause of constipation. Anecdotal reports suggest yoga may be helpful for constipation sufferers although scientific studies have not been conducted investigate this.
