Dulcolax® Pico Perles are used for the short term treatment of constipation. Dulcolax® Pico Perles are small soft capsules that contain sodium picosulfate and enable you to tailor your dose to your needs. Although Dulcolax® Pico Perles work in the same way as Dulcolax® Tablets (working within 6 to 12 hours), the capsule format is more flexible; you can have just two capsules or up to four depending on how much relief you need.
Although Dulcolax® Pico Perles contain a different active ingredient (sodium picosulfate) to Dulcolax® Tablets, this active ingredient is broken down to the same active substance. This is why they work in the same way as Dulcolax® Tablets and are just as predictable and reliable.
If you prefer to be able to modify your dose according to your needs and your require relief in 6 to 12 hours, Dulcolax® Pico Perles may be the right choice for you. The amount of active ingredient in each Dulcolax® Perle is very small and this enables you to tailor the dose to your needs, within the product guidelines.
Dulcolax® Pico Perles can be used in children over 10 years old. Dulcolax® Pico Perles should not be given to children under 10 years except on medical advice.
Dulcolax® Pico Perles are available in packs of 20 in all good supermarkets and pharmacies. A larger 50 pack is also available from behind the pharmacy counter in pharmacy stores.
